PubMatic Announces Three Leadership Promotions

Over the past year, the PubMatic team has evolved to meet new challenges  of the ever-changing programmatic landscape, of managing and growing our team during a pandemic, and of becoming a public companyWith the intent to ensure that the organization is structured for success on the road aheadwe have announced three key promotions among the leadership team. 

Amar Goel, Paulina Klimenko, and Lorrie Dougherty have all played instrumental roles in the success of the company and have now respectively grown their portfolios of responsibilities as PubMatic moves into a new era as a public company. 

PubMatic Founder and Chairman, Amar Goel, will now have the additional title of Chief Innovation Officerreflecting the contributions he has been making to inform future development and investment areas. He will continue to focus on data and algorithmic product innovationmachine learning and marketplace quality, helping PubMatic maintain its competitive advantage in the areas of data and infrastructure. 

Paulina Klimenko, formerly SVP, Corporate Development & GM of Mobile, will now assume the title Chief Growth Officer. In her nine years at PubMatic, she has worked across business development, corporate development, and strategy — cross-functionally driving many of our high-growth business areas. Paulina’s portfolio includes both organic growth sectors of our business, including mobile appdigital video, and OTT/CTV, as well as evaluating and leading inorganic growth opportunities, such as M&A and partnerships. 

Finally, Lorrie Dougherty will now have the title of Senior Vice President, Human Resources. She has led PubMatic’s HR organization for several years and has been responsible for driving employee engagement. In 2020, she faced the challenge of shifting the company to remote work head on, driving successful recruiting efforts for key roles, and continuing to evolve the employee experience. Looking ahead, Lorrie will lead PubMatic’s strategy on office re-openings, help PubMatic succeed with ambitious recruiting goals, and elevate diversity, equity and inclusion programs across the global organization.
