We are thrilled to announce that PubMatic India has ranked #11 out of nearly 900 workplaces on the Great Place to Work Institute India’s Top 50 Mid-Size Workplaces of 2020.
Every year, thousands of organizations across the globe undergo assessment in partnership with the Great Place to Work Institute. The Great Place to Work Institute’s methodology is recognized as rigorous and objective and is considered the gold standard for defining great workplaces across business, academia and government organizations.
The Institute undertakes a robust validation process on the data gathered through the assessment process. No individual or jury has a say in who makes it to the Top 50 list – only employee feedback and quality of people practice determine if an organization is a great workplace.
At PubMatic we have built a culture of high trust and high performance. This is enabled by transparent communication – every employee knows the company strategy and vision; we share successes as well as challenges openly with employees. Another key aspect of our culture is teamwork and collaboration, which enable us to meet our objectives and result in high productivity. In the current pandemic situation our team has been collaborating to deliver more software features to customers in the second quarter than we did in the first quarter this year. We delivered 97 new features in Q2 compared to 82 in Q1. In this period we also launched the industry-leading Prebid server-powered header bidding solution for OTT and CTV platforms.
Innovation and learning are at the core of our culture. This week, for example, we had have our annual Hackathon, where our employees across all locations get together come up with new ideas and implement them over a period of 36 hours. This is like a festival for the engineering team, and they call it the happiest two days of the year. We also have tremendous learning opportunities such as our ML^2 program (called ML squared). This program is open to all of our employees, and it covers Machine Learning training delivered via online videos, inhouse experts and real-life projects.
