PubMatic, in partnership with the Publisher Monetization Research Group (PMRG), established and launched the Japan Publisher Alliance on Digital (J-PAD), an alliance of Japanese and international publishers that provides brands with access to a highly desirable audience through exclusive private marketplace (PMP) deals, all powered by PubMatic’s revenue management platform, SEVEN. At the J-PAD launch event PubMatic President Kirk McDonald gave a keynote speech to over 60 premium publishers and media buyers that focused on the Google / Facebook duopoly and how publisher alliances can create an environment for more branding budgets to be spent programmatically.
