Media transparency has become one of the most pressing issues facing advertisers and publishers today. In the past year, the issue has gained prominence across the world with the ANA’s Report on media rebates in the US, the overcharging scandal at Dentsu Japan, and P&G global brand officer
Marc Pritchard’s warning to the “murky” and “fraudulent” digital media supply chain. As advertisers and brands hurriedly shift their ad spend to programmatic channels, the call for transparency around pricing and the overall value exchange has reached a fever pitch.
Much of the focus has been around what’s wrong with digital and the lack of transparency between partners, not on what transparency actually looks like and how to get it right. Join us at our next PubAcademy where we will be hearing from industry experts on their best practices in transparency and how we can leverage new technology and knowledge in order to rebuild trust in our industry.
