About the Role:
PubMatic is hiring a Customer Success Manager to support our extensive Publisher base across the Nordics. Customer Success Managers (CSMs) are the primary owners of PubMatic’s global Publisher base. You develop strategic partnerships with our Tier-1 Publishers to grow their digital advertising business, focusing on the programmatic revenue opportunity.
Our CSMs closely consult with key strategic and tactical contacts through long-term relationship development and a deep understanding of PubMatic’s product offerings and the market.
In this role, you would have quarterly top-line revenue targets and be responsible for ensuring PubMatic exceeds the Publisher expectations whilst protecting their brand. Through regular check-ins, rigorous performance analyses, cross-functional project management, and industry event attendance, CSMs act and are seen as programmatic specialists and advisors who achieve results.

What You'll Do:

Manage a portfolio of Tier-1 and high-potential Publishing businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement.

Leverage your analytical skills and knowledge of the programmatic marketplace (gained on the job) to influence advertising strategy and execution towards “programmatic-first.”

Develop an understanding of technical aspects of ad serving and SSP functionality, including managing account setups and maintaining accounts on the PubMatic system.

Ensure on-time execution of technical integrations and deliver service excellence during implementation.

Collaborate with internal teams, including specialists, engineers, and product managers, to deliver customized implementation plans and define business goals, key strategies, and success metrics.

Generate and interpret reporting to yield competitive insights for clients and support data-driven decision-making.

Actively respond to escalations, including integration progress and issues, PMPs, discrepancies, and Inventory Quality concerns.

Participate in and contribute to on-site quarterly business reviews with clients to review technical challenges and product support opportunities.

Travel (up to 20%) to client sites for strategic and quarterly business review meetings.
We'd Love for You to Have:

4+ years of experience in client-facing service roles, such as consulting or customer success and a high degree of commercial understanding.

Prior digital advertising or programmatic ad tech experience.

Proven success managing Tier-1 publishers and influencing decision-makers' perspectives.

Experience working with high-growth clients.

Knowledge of RTB/PMP, ad networks, and header bidding/wrapper; familiarity with various ad formats and platforms

Proficiency in tools like Excel (preferably Macros), Salesforce, and JIRA; and other analytics platforms is a plus.

An engaged team player with strong interpersonal skills who knows how to have fun while achieving results.

Ad Trafficking exposure using Ad Servers such as Google Ad Manager, Equativ, FreeWheel, Xandr, SpringServe or Publica
