Associate Director / Director, Advertiser Solutions

PubMatic is looking for a dynamic Director, Advertiser Solutions to take our agency and brand partnerships to the next level and drive innovation in programmatic advertising. This is a remote position; however, candidates must be based in the Chicago area.
About the Role:
As the Chicago based Director, Advertiser Solutions, you will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, growth, and success of PubMatic’s advertiser solutions across agencies or brands. You will work directly with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to refine and execute sales strategies, drive revenue, and oversee a diverse portfolio of high-value clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the programmatic landscape, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to align business objectives with PubMatic’s long-term vision.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and drive sales growth for PubMatic’s advertiser solutions, focusing on key agency and brand partnerships, while identifying and capitalizing on new revenue opportunities.
- Develop and refine sales strategies that align with PubMatic’s business goals and market dynamics, ensuring a high level of execution across the sales team.
- Build and nurture senior relationships with top agencies or brands, acting as the face of PubMatic in key client interactions and industry events.
- Lead high-value negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring global collaboration across multiple internal and external teams, with an emphasis on scalability and long-term partnerships.
- Travel as necessary to meet business objectives, including client meetings, conferences, and internal strategy sessions.
Who You Are:
- Proven Sales Leader: 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the AdTech, Publisher, DSP, or SSP space, with a strong emphasis on agency and brand partnerships.
- Global Account Management Expertise: Significant experience managing a diverse portfolio of high-value clients, including large Holding Companies, Independent Agencies, and Direct-to-Brand accounts.
- Deep Programmatic Knowledge: Expert understanding of programmatic advertising models, including PMP, programmatic guaranteed, auction-based buying, and emerging technologies in the digital advertising space.
- Strong Negotiator & Strategist: Ability to lead complex negotiations, craft tailored business solutions, and drive revenue growth across global accounts.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate and align with product, technical, and operational teams to deliver client solutions and product enhancements.
- Data-Driven Decision Maker: Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to optimize campaigns, refine strategies, and influence business outcomes.

Compensation Disclosure
In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
